Sisters In Joy - Book Discussion Group

Ladies... join us for our next book discussion on Saturday, September 20 from 9:00- 10:30am in the Sisters in Joy room. We'll be discussing: Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World: Finding Intimacy with God in the Busyness of Life, by Joanna Weaver.

The book encourages readers to find a balance between the active life of service and the contemplative life of intimacy with God. It offers guidance on how to deepen one's devotion, strengthen service, and do both with less stress and greater joy. It's an invitation to embrace both the "Mary" and "Martha" aspects of faith, finding a way to connect with God in the midst of a busy life.
